How do I create revenue with a PD-go! Web Solutions® franchise?
There are several ways to create revenue, including:
- Building new websites
- Providing website maintenance and consulting
- Registering domain names
- Residual income from the PD-go! monthly service fees
You will earn a 30% commission on the services that you sell, including the monthly residual income.
How much money can I expect to make from my business?
Unfortunately, federal franchise law prohibits us from making any income projections or promises. This is to protect the franchisee as well as the franchisor. Income is commensurate with the amount of effort put into the business.
What would I do on a day to day basis?
Your responsibilities would include the following:
- Marketing web solutions to businesses and organizations in your territory;
- Writing contracts;
- Receiving the signed contract and deposit payment;
- Sending this package to PD-go! headquarters to actually build the website;
- Assist with the project management by working with your client as their local point of contact, to receive their photos, documents, files, etc. that will be used in the website and forwarding them to the design team.
- Optionally, once the website is done and live, you can assist with client support, or just let our corporate team handle it.
Do I need web design experience?
No. Web design experience would be helpful, but is not necessary. Technically, you must feel confident with the computer and be the type of person who can pick up new software quickly and easily. Excellent interpersonal skills are very important. We can teach the right people to successfully operate their franchise. We will only select people who are truly teachable, positive, and hungry for knowledge and success.
How much are the franchise fees and royalties?
The franchise fee is currently $4,000. There is a 7% royalty on income that the franchisee bills directly to the client. Please review the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for full details on income and fees.
What is the estimated initial investment to own a PD-go! Web Solutions® franchise?
Total investment necessary to begin operation of a PD-go! Web Solutions franchised business will be listed in this location soon, as we are currently revising the figures.
How much training will I receive?
Each franchisee or franchisee team will receive approximately three days of training in person at the PD-go! headquarters in Vero Beach Florida. They will be trained on how to run a successful business and will have hands-on experience editing web page content and learning how to solve general support issues.
Do I get an Operations Manual?
Yes, we have a comprehensive operations manual that will be provided to you prior to your training session. As the operations manual is adjusted, you will receive an updated copy either physically or electronically.
Is on-going support provided once training is completed?
Yes, it is. You will be in business for yourself, but not by yourself. We anticipate that there will be a learning curve and that you will need more support at first while you are still learning and becoming confident in the business. We will always be available to you for questions and mentorship.
Do I get an exclusive territory?
Yes, your exclusive territory will be established at the time you purchase your business. The boundaries of your area will be designated by US zip codes. This is your area of primary responsibility and this is where you will focus your marketing dollars and networking efforts. We have found that in the web design business, clients more often prefer to work with a local person. You will, however, occasionally receive leads outside your territory. You are permitted to provide services to clients outside of your area, assuming that those clients are not within the territory of other franchisees.
How many hours will I work each week?
This is a full-time business, therefore, a 40 hour work week is expected. The business can work with either a single person or a couple. We generally recommend working 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday, so that you can be available to your client base during their normal working hours. However, your hours and vacation days are pretty flexible. Really your business can be run from anywhere with a phone and a computer with Internet access.
